Arkajit is a Council of Architecture (COA) registered architect and a member of the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), bringing 18 years of professional experience backed by dual qualifications in Architecture (BArch) and Civil Engineering (BTech). Working alongside Architect Ranajit Gupta— Member of European Engineering Society, member of FABI and ASHRAE—Arkajit has managed a wide range of complex, large-scale architectural assignments. He joined ‘Open to Sky’ as Senior Architect in October 2026.
His expertise spans township planning, industrial facilities, high-density residential developments, and specialized infrastructure. Notably, Arkajit has led major national and international planetarium renovation projects across India and abroad (including the Omar Khayyam Planetarium in Iran), integrating advanced digital equipment, structural schemes, and architectural details. Skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Structural Drawings, and site supervision, Arkajit offers strong technical execution, environmental slope-adapted design capabilities, and proven leadership from concept through construction.
